Structure of Gel in Electrosensory Organs in Cartilaginous Fishes
A collaborative project to develop the first macroscopic structure model based on various microscopic methods of the gel found inside the electrosensory organs of cartilaginous fishes, like sharks.
E-cigarette affects on Lung Surfactant Studies
This collaborative project combines X-ray spectroscopy and various bench top methods to measure membrane strength and structure and determine the affects on lung surfactant of e-cigarettes.
